Hi I just wanted to know the difference between a peppermint and a camel shrimp so when I go to the store I make sure I have the right one and also can they go in a tank with a fire shrimp ? Thanks for any help

Camel shrimp = not reef safe.

ok so your saying there not really that reef safe the peppermints this is what I have also heard I just really want my aptaspia prob to go away joe's juice just stinks and makes more and i really don't have anything else but lime juice here but afraid I will kill something else in the tank if I use it ahhhhhh aptaspia I will try the shrimp I guess as soon as he is done eating it all up i'll get rid of him Thankyou everyone for the help

yeah I thought I got the wrong juice down I'm gonna try that instead of the shrimp thanks the pharmacist will probrably think I want the syringe to shoot up thats the only problem I see in getting one of those lolol THANKS AGAIN for the help

There are also 2 kinds of peppermints. 1 may eat Aiptasia and the other won't at all. I personally don't like to rely on them to rid the tank of nuisance anemones since they aren't a guarantee and they have a tendency to pick on other stuff. Copperbands are great for removing Aiptasia as long as you have an appropriate tank for them and they are healthy. Kalk is also the best chemical way I have seen to kill them but you need to be careful not to effect tank parameters.
