If you're asking what the TDS meter should read..the answer is '0'.

What reading are you getting on the output from your rodi?
Once the number on the TDS meter starts to rise you need to change the filters in your rodi unit.

if u calibrated it, then yes.
the produce water coming from the ro should be 0 on the tds.
it shouldn't take more than a few gallons for a new ro system.

the water coming out past the RO might not read 0 depending how high the TDS in your tap water was...depending on your membrane it should take out like 97-99% of it....If you had a DI canister after the RO, the water coming out of the DI should read 0 becuase it picks up the slack from your RO

i dont know what you mean by calibrated.
yes i took out 5 gallons already

If your TDS meter isnt calibrated then youll never know the true reading. Looks like a decent unit you bought. If you know someone with a calibrated TDS meter check it with there meter.

i have the pen type with cal fluid n directions.
i'm not sure about your in-line meter.
as with any measurement equipment, it needs to be cali(fine tune to be accurate) regularly.

i guess u dont need to cali.

39 ppm is too high. something is not working right.
check the reading from your tap to see how high it begins with.

check whats the ppm of your tap water. my tap is around 50. if yours is similar, then your ro isnt really filtering much.

maybe u can take a pic of the whole thing while its producing water so people can see if your hookup is correct.

You can see this number (ppm) when you turn the dual tds meter's knob selector to the "input" side. If you have new filters, the "output" reading should be zero (0).

all this time i had my ball value restrictor not in 90 degree position. meaning my membrance was washed out.
