any1 knpw how long can this doser work before it kicks the bucket? i'm looking into getting one for dosing kalk only(about 1-2 gal/d.

The tubing wears out when used with kalk, mine did not last too long. I also find the tubing gets deformed from the rollers, making the dosed volume change over time.

You have to change the tubes every so often, but I've had mine for almost 3 years.

I had the aquamedic set up with a kalk reactor and worked fine (although I am generally not a fan of aquamedic). I posted if for sale a while back as I got the Tom aqualifter which pumps a little faster and suits my needs better.

wow, Tom aqualifter($12) works better than aquamedic($85)?

I think it depends on the application, i.e Aquamedic may be better suited for slower dosing.
