What is the ph of the effulent(sp) Or the water coming out of the reactor? You want to keep it at anywhere from 6.5 to 6.9 Depending on you calcium need`s....

i know most reactors run @ around 6.7, then it becomes a monitoring stage where you test the parameters in your tank and adjust accordingly, allow 24-48hrs to re-adjust between changes. if you increase the flow of your effluent, then you have to increase your co2 input to keep the correct ph in the reactor.

I run my reactor with a milwaukee controller to come on when effulent in reactor hits hit 6.7 and shuts down at 6.4
If your effulent is lower than 6.4 your media will turn to mush. higher than 6.8 your just passing water thru the reactor.
Your can add more co2 to lower the effluent or cut back on the drips per min.
Get the effluent in the 6.5 -6.7 range and chech your alk and cal levels in the tank
first.
wait a day and ajust as you need.
