Question about my live rock

I have a bunch of live rock which has been stored in 5 gallon buckets (with no water) since I
took apart my tank about 6 weeks ago. Is this rock still good to use for another reef tank or is the rock no good anymore.

You will need to cure the rock b4 you place it in another tank.

any beneficial bacteria, copepods, inverts, algae, or life has definitely died off within those six weeks. the rock will need to be cured. if you place it into another tank after curing it the rock will regrow life, but it will take more time since the rock is now essentially "dead"

After you let the rock cure add some additional rock that was cured and from an established tank to seed your rock. Hope this help`s....
