My stocking WAS 1 Midas Blenny, 1 Bi color Blenny two O clowns, 1 Pink spotted Goby and made the mistake of introducing a small mimic Tang that my wife begged me to buy should have known better. Before we bought the tang . temp became 76 and steady i took my time bring it down two weeks later we bought the tang developed Ich died in a week and a half after that blennies started flashing no sings on the clowns but clowns died first one on the first day the other the next 4th July massacre happened and lost the midas and the goby only thing left is bi color looks ok once in a while smacks himself into the sand but eating fine. Sorry about the book i just wrote i dint see any signs of ich on the other fish i don't know what may have happened. Any thoughts oh yeah corals look real happy now

isn't it great when you can answer your own question ;)

my guess is the bicolor has ich (maybe velvet...you sure ich is what killed the tang? velvet is harder to spot and kills quicker). if you want to save him pull him from the system and treat him. also might have to leave your tank fishless for a couple months...

i have already pulled the bi color out and is in QT. As soon as i noticed the spots on the tang i pulled him out i thought ich attached fish after they fell off the infected fish and looked for a new host the tang was there for at least a day once i noticed it. but than athe blennies starting flashing and than gasping for Air. i guess im too stupid or stuborn to accept that i really should not have introduced another fish in my tank and believe me no more fish but my three year old keeps asking about nemo and biggie thats what he called the female clown. it really sucks !

you probably need to medicate, not just quarantine the fish. As all the other fish are already dead, you could just qt the bicolor in the display but i wouldnt medicate there...as for introducing another fish, if you add more fish right now you are probably going to have to explain to your kid how they died too...

since you seem to already have a qt tank, just use it in the future and this wont be an issue. meantime let the tank go fallow for a few months.

yeah...i don't trust you...all the ich 'cures' are pretty much snake oil. if you have it in your system there isnt a whole lot you can do other than bomb the system with bleach or copper, or let it go fallow to get rid of it.

Not going to dance on you for using Garlic Extreme, it can be useful in helping keep a fish eating through an ich outbreak, but as you already know, it is not a cure. You may possibly get lucky :)
As far as the ich being 'gone' ...very doubtful, it probably just fell off the fish as part of it's regular life cycle and it appears that it is gone. Trust me, it isn't, it's just elsewhere in your tank, and may well still be hidden within the fish..in the gills especially...
Your upcoming vacation is a blessing in disguise. If you can, keep the blenny in the QT and leave your tank devoid of fish until after you return (plus whatever time it takes to add up to 8 weeks) and then make a special trip with your family to pick out some new fish ...and please put them in a QT for a couple of weeks when you get them home. ;)
