where would you order an itech skimmer?

They are made to order and can now be ordered with the tunze hydrfoamer pumps, the also have excvellent customer service. It is not to often you can call a place a talk to the guy who actually built your skimmer.

I just bought a Vertex skimmer. Seems good for the money.

Check out the alpha 170 cone skimmer by royal-exclusiv (bubble king) and they come equipped with a red dragon pump. There is a introductory sale for these new skimmers for $650 shipped. That is only $50 more than the i-tech 200 but you get a way better skimmer.

I think they are probably the best buy right now.

Three simple criteria:
1) Resale value
2) Craftsmenship (Aesthetics, fine details, finish, material)
3) Pump used (The red dragon is far superior to the tunze pump, sorry if you fail to recognize this)

Just because you own something doesn't make it the best in the world. Keep an open mind.
