Seahorse Reef

Im setting up a seahorse tank, 30 gal deep sand with engin goby and som snail, rock. I wanted to know what type of tree like coral i could put it that the seahorses would wrap around, prefb one that doesnt need intense lighting. HELP

Gorgonians. You'll need to feed them if they aren't photosynthetic.

any corals that doesnt have tenticles, thin branched rock, and as stated gorgs and marco algea, is this a seahorse only dedicated tank ? check out seahorse.org sh tanks are a colder species tank 70-76 above that they are more prone to disease

Watch out for plates and acans as well they may not look like it but they can eat a seahorse.

wow never heard of that one.......must be a huge acan to be able to eat a seahorse....perhaps a pygmy or a pot-belly but i doubt any acan is big enough to eat a kuda or an erectus. those guys can grow bigger than 10 inches.

actually them might not digest it whoe, it's their sting that can cause the problem, and i wouldnt do a deep sandbed in the tank

wow thanks so much for the feed back! the reason why i have a deep bed is bec of the goby, other than him and som snail/crabs that really all. but besides the dangerous coral, do SH in general go well wit other corals?
