PRICE DROP 24 Inch Orphek Power Reef PR156W LED Light Fixture

ok really taking a beating on this thing price drop $500
PRICE DROP $550

24 Inch Orphek Power Reef PR156W LED Light Fixture Information

Asking $600 they are about 6 months old but have only been used for less than 2 weeks. They have 120 Degree lens and not 90. I put these over my tank about a week and a half ago but since my tank is not that deep I'm getting way to much light in the tank. The guy at oprphek told me to lift the fixture about 24 " off the water line but I dont have that kind of room I have them at about 18" and still way to strong.
They are not dimmable ot programable but if anyone knows about leds they will know this company and what type of light it is,
IT does come with dual timeers which you can see in the pictures
Hanging kit included.
No trades since I have to replace this fixture. They go for $750 on Marine depot and more on many other sites.

My tank is a 4 X 2 X 2 if I could raise the light further up it would hae been fine but I get the light at the right hight which is 24" this light is made for deep depth so if your tank is shorter than 30" u would just raise the light higher. Really made for sps which I don't hae.

If you want to use this on a shallower tank you can also remove the optics to increase the spread. I just got one of these for a customer with a 90gal reef who wanted to upgrade from his halides and start getting SPS. With the optics removed it's still hitting the bottom with more than enough light and he's more than happy with them. I'm pretty sure the newest model is dimmable now too and they utilise Meanwell drivers.

Great lights and great price!

Could you put a dimmer on the light in between wall socket and LED plug? This is very common for lighting in the film industry. Dimming the light changes the color temp, which could be a problem. Just a thought.
