Hi all,
I'm almost finished setting up a 55 in my classroom. The students (3rd graders) voted on the rock scape, sand color, fish and shrimp. Part of our curriculum is life cycles. I thought it would be pretty cool if we could get a pair of percs (already in tank) to host an anemone and lay eggs. I have reached a point where I can't put any more $$ into the tank. Would anyone be willing to donate a red tipped bubble anemone to our cause? I would be able to pick up.

Anemones should go in a tank that is fairly well established like at least 6 months. Maybe go with frogspawn for now.

Are you sure the tank is cycled? How long ago did you set the tank up? Did you start in the summer? I know school just started a week ago. You might be moving a tad to fast. You need to monitor the tank while it cycles other wise you are just going to kill your livestock. Those clowns dont have a chance if thats the case. And WAYYYY to soon to even think about a anemone
