I would like to get my purple tang into a larger tank than mine. He's doing extremely well, eats everything, very fat and healthy looking but I feel he would benefit from a longer tank instead of my cube.

This fish is about 4 1/2". $100 price is firm. Here's the catch, I won't sell unless you have a healthy, large, established reef. I am not in a rush to sell since the tang is doing absolutely fine. I just want to get him in a larger home than what I have.

He is hand fed several times per day.

You can see him eating in this video

send rich some pics of your tank, what you currently have in it (livestock), how long has the tank been up and running just a few that will qualify you to be able to purchase this beauty. If i didn't live so far away it would be mine ;)

Thanks Matt and tangmaniace

ivandrago, I did't get a PM from you.

debby, thanks for the PM. It certainly sounds like you would give him a good home but I see a sailfin in your tank in other posts. This fish could get the **** beat out of him if he goes in there. I'm not willing to chance it. Sorry.

Mike I am seeing that I have too much bioload now. Nitrates are getting up there. He's the biggest popper in the tank :)

Pending to Ivan Drago.

brand this is a 115g cube 32x32x26. It was custom built. The purple tang could be fine in here long term but I do see him trace the glass sometimes and I am getting high on my bioload. Better for him to be in a longer tank that is also healthy.

Thanks Ponyboy. I care about this fish an want to see him in the right home.

Brand, thanks. I am pretty loaded up with wrasses and anthias. I could do without the poop from this tang :)

PHk36, beautiful tangs you have there. This is fish is spoken for at the moment though.

Mods please close this thread for me. I have more than enough interest to get this guy in a good home. Thank you.
