When I had to move my 75G, I drained it almost all the way. Moved some rocks and fish to some bins with a heater/powerhead.

Although most of the weight is distributed to the corners, the rim at the base does rest on the stand. Carrying a tank at the ends alone allows for some deflection in the tank. The deflection is minimal and mostly unnoticeable but glass is a brittle material that doesn't allow for much deflection to begin with.

I wouldn't take that risk

Dubs. If I did everything MR dudes said I would have trashed the 75g when I chipped it.
They all said it wouldn't hold water and it was too risky to keep. Over a year and STILL strong!!!

To all the popcorn eaters, we'll be sure to post a video of how Renegades do .

When I moved my 75 gallon I drained half of the water (left rocks and fish and corals in it also left the sump under it) then with a pinch bar raised each corner and put sliders under it. I was able to then slide it across the room to the other side by myself, but its always better to have some extra hands.
