Up for sale is the better part of my 65 gallon set up. $500 takes the following:
65 gallon AGA reef ready. The tank is in very good shape and is a little over a year old. There is one scratch that I know about, and it is in the top left hand corner on the front pane. The only time I ever noticed it was when I cleaned the glass or went looking for it.
Stand. The stand is DIY and is made from 3/4inch Oak ply. It is very solid. The color of the stain didn't come out great in the pics, as it has a warm red hue to it. The Doors could use a clasp to help keep them closed
Sump and 5 gallon Freshwater resivour . the Sump is also DYI made from 1/4 inch acrylic. It is not pretty as the back and side are cloudy, but it does the job and was made to filt perfectly in the stand with the 5 gallon glass resivoir. It has three baffles, two of wich are removable to make it easy to get a skimmer out. There is a Fuge as well, but this is not completely sealed off from the rest of the sump. Also included is the plumbing for a gravity fed skimmer. One of the bulk heads may need to be replaced as I glued a piece of PVC in it for the return.
The hood is also DYI and it is a little bit off square. It never bothered me, but you may not be happy with it if you are a perfectionist. The front is hinged and is also slightly larger than the rest of the hood, to help hide the fact that it is not 100% square. The side with the fan and the top of the hood screw off so that you can work inside without taking the reflectors out. Inside the hood are two parallel reflectors with mogul sockets that have been cut to fit in the hood. Also cut to fit the hood are two PC reflectors with straight pin sockets. Finally, the hood has an Ice Cap fan, with a thermostat. The fan is a little over a year old.
PC lighting is 2x 65w and was used for about 3 years. I do not have bulbs for the PC.
The MH ballast is a 175w Blueline Duel electronic Ballast that I used for a little over two years. The combination of two 175w MH and the 65w PC where more than sufficient for me to grow the most light demanding SPS. I should have two 10K ushio bulbs with six months left on them, I just misplaced them and if I kind find them you can have them...if I can't neither can you...no price reduction.
Finally some pics. If you want better, larger or more specific pics or have questions, let me know. I will not part out at this time. I am posting here first, and will post on RC if no one here wants package.
