Well, i admitted if I flaked. But if your full intention is to not disclose the information you CLEARLY know. There's a big problem. Honesty is the best policy. If you have told me the true fact this won't be the scenario. I would have still gotten the chiller from you and i hate to deal with dishonesty!

What was I dishonest about??? Please... is that the best you've got?! I told you I don't know b/c I clearly didn't recall... I told you I got it from someone here on the board... so if I was trying to hide ANYTHING from ANYONE, I wouldn't have disclosed that info... Did, I or did I not tell you I bought it used, about 4 months ago from a member on the boards...

I'm pretty sure you've flaked on me in the past too... I just decided to call you out on it this time.

Man... I'm glad I soon won't have to deal with people like you.

You've made it apparent that you obviously don't gather your thoughts before you speak, and it shows in your actions.

Please ignore the senseless stupidity from "someone's" feeble attempt to retaliate on my calling him out on his flakiness once and for all. (Notice how he's edited his original, "I'll take the chiller" post)

And the best part about it is that someone new from the community will see it every time I bump it, and hopefully will learn from it.

Seriously. Fine chiller at a better than fine price. I'm just getting out of the hobby and that's the ONLY reason why I'm selling.

I can't believe this. If I were to spend $350 on something, I would like to know the condition of it also. The nerve of the seller not disclosing the truth. Peeshee, this is not personal, I dont even know you but Honesty is the best policy !

Awesome... show your true colors, Samsky... and yes lazibonez, you don't know me, and I don't know you, but we both all agree on the same thing... Honesty is the best policy. Not that I need to explain myself to you, lazibonez, but if you're thinking this way, then there might be others thinking just the same... so let me clarify the situation here... and feel free to ask anyone that I've transacted with here on MR.

I was truly honest at the time that I posted me not being sure on how old the chiller was... I didn't recall. I didn't want to say 2 years old when it could have been more... now that would have been truly misleading.

Sure I could've dug in a little deeper and looked back at the original post, but not at the time I replied to Samsky's post... I was at work... and by the time I got off work so I could look into it, Samsky had already posted and PM'd me that he would take it... so I left it at that. So if Samsky was truly adamant about knowing the age of the chiller before deciding to say he'd buy it, he could have simply just waited for me to get back to him.

Instead, he backs out, I call him out on it (to let the rest of the MR community know about it) and he's now reduced to trying to "spin" the story another way, saying I was being dishonest because I didn't give full disclosure...
Please... If he hadn't jumped the gun, there would've been a post from me stating just how old the chiller is.

In no way was I trying to hide anything from anyone. This is an open forum with easily accessible information to everyone. If I were truly trying to be dishonest about anything, I could've easily just said, "Hey, that's not the chiller" that Samsky posted a link to... because after all, I never posted on Ronster's thread.

So those of you who don't know me... formulate your own opinions, as you're all certainly entitled to.

And yes, lazibonez, $350 is a lot of money... and also HALF the price of a new 1/4 drop-in chiller. Even more the reason to wait and get all the info you might need before agreeing to purchase it, no?

Chief... no disrespect... just trying to clear up any misinformation.
