I just trimmed back some of my Pom Pom pulsating xenia. Its the light pink variety and its thriving in my tank, its very beautiful.

I bought it to have grow in the back wall of my tank and its looking great. The frags I trimmed back were the ones that started to grow on some of my LR which I want to keep available for different types of zoas that I have.

I have to tell you that this stuff is great at maintaining water parameters! I hadnt been able to do a water change or check parameters in 5 weeks bc of kids being sick and going to drs etc all that 'fun' reality stuff and this coral kept it all in check. I tested everything last week and the water was perfect!

Im not going to attach it to anything bc this type of coral, if you dont already know, attachs itself pretty quickly to whatever you want. Plus I dont think it likes to be glued down :wink1:

I also have two XL hermits it anyone wants them, they are inhabiting 2 large cowrie shells. I also have a Large one in a regular shell. They will do better in a larger tank, not my small 29G where they knock things over! :irked:

Pickup in Merrick, Long Island (Nassau County)

Here is a picture of part of the mother colony. Its very strange to see it not pulsating. Is ther anyway to post video on here? Its so much more fascinating when you see it pulsating.
