Hey don't give up bro, this is not hobby it's a part of our lives. You will always be a reefman or a fowlrman. maybe you should try to cover it for 3-5 days and run phosphate reactor with gfo and do a 30% water change after 5th day?

Well its not getting direct sunlight but its in a room that does. Like the sun beam doesn't hit the tank. Im going to try the uv sterilizer and covering the top. Ill do a 25 gallon water change today and see where that puts me. Thanks guys

Try dosing hydrogen peroxide 3%, 1mL per 10g of system H2O volume, once a day for 3 days just to kill some algae. Don't feed anything for your livestock for 4 days, continue with your filters running. I'll follow this thread and just keep on posting with the status. If everything else fails, I do hope you accept PP.

Adam, If you need to I will set up a qt for your guys and you can start over again, if all else does not work. Don't give up so easly, like all the guys said before we are here to help you. You have too much invested and I know you love the hobby.
I have a diatom xl, uv, and anything else you might need here.

adam i almost gave up on my 29g biocube. i did research and did a few things that worked after a bad bacteria outbreak. i changed my lighting schedule to mostly atinics with 6 hrs of white light. i changed my salt from reef crystal to regular instant ocean but thats not your case. i changed my power head to a stronger one. i started running phosguard in a bag . i shortened my feeding schedules to every 2-3 days. replaced my d/i resin that ran out. i did a few 30% water changes for a few days and now my tank is crystal clear with coraline growing in it. dont give up.
