honestly i feel bad for him... but some of the remarks made by the fellow reefers on rc might of been a little to strong but the truth of the matter is with a tank like that i personally would wanna be ready for the worst thing that could happen....

Can we just give it a rest!!
The guy has a generator. He was not home for the poweroutage to hook up the generator. Based on the info that the powercompany gave him it was said that the electricity will be on within 4 hours guaranteed. So Hugo did not rush home, being comforted by the power company statement.

Power companies lie and screw you.

Moral of the story - When its your turn to get fu**** you will get fuc**d

No, what makes you think i'm reffering to you? I am specifically speaking about a person named "BUI" that responded to that thread on RC. Him and some other people said some mean and cruel things. Read the thread and you will understand what i am talking about.

Because the link you provided takes me to a discussion on MR where I gave my $.02, not the one on RC.

Herman, I think this event will help people to rethink their power back up plans, or come up with one if none is in place. It is a good thing to discuss and hope to prevent, we can all learn something out of this sad event.

I would not belive everything people tell you, including the power company..

My comments are somewhat negative too.. and my point is you linked a MR thread that was not your intended reference per your subsequent explanations and I felt you meant I was posting "cruel remarks" in my MR posting.

The moral of the story-> you have to plan the worst and hope for the best... Or you end up with an "everything in the tank died" thread.

I don't think he had a plan at all:(.
