Thanx man. Im hoping it keeps spreading cuz im hoping it will eventually suffocate all this GHA i have growing all over loll.

Btw I like ur tank too. Are those acans in the sand bed? or blastos?

they're acans. how often do you do water changes. what are your water levels like? also, what's your daily routine?

Daily- One day Brine shrimp for fish and next day Target-feeding cyclopeeze for corals, clams and fish. And so on and so forth.
Weekly- 10% water change

How do ur acans look so juicy under Mh's? Mine have been giving me problems under my t5's. My water parameters are all in check and all my corals are doing great except for the acans. Id love for mine to look like those.

i actually have (2) evil par38's which are soon to be replaced by the AI Sol Nano. What do you test for? Alk, Cal, Mg, pH, Nit, Nat? btw, check out the acan kaleidoscope on the homepage. Now those are some juicy acans.

I test every now and then for calcium but i use an api test kit so im not sure how accurate it is. I dose every 2-3 days with liquid calcium tho to keep up levels for the clam and lps. Im gonna check it out as soon as I get out of work loll.

one way to find out the tank usage of cal, alk and mag, is to do a water change, wait a few hours and test, then dont dose for the whole week and right before next water change test all parms again, for kits look into the redsea reef foundation pro kit, easy to use and gave same readings as salifert and elos

That tank covered? I tried yellow jaw he took a carpet dive right away! Cool fish

Yup I got the custom glass canopy for the cube. Ive kept it uncovered several times during water changes and feedings and he seems pretty contempt in there so I dont know if I have to really worry about it but Ill still keep an eye out
