Hello MR,
Just wanted to introduce my new tank. It is a 58 gallon Oceanic Reef Ready, footprint is 36" x 18"
I am upgrading from my 14 gallon BioCube
Some stuff I got so far:
Stand from a 65 gallon - Thanks to my awesome GF
The tank - Thanks to KrustyKat
Mag 7 return pump - Thanks to KrustyKat
ReefKeeperElite w/ Net - Thanks to KrustyKat
Tunze 9006 Protein Skimmer -Thanks to SaltwaterInBrooklyn
20 gallon long sump - Thanks to WilFresco
Still needs a lot of stuff but I have made some good progress. I fit the standpipes yesterday and performed a leak test, after some motivated torquing, I'm in the money.
I'm still awaiting a PVC gate valve to attach to the drain, once I get that I'll fill up and test water circulation. I have all the rest of the plumbing. I am pretty proud of the return plumbing (I have included a ball valve for regulating flow and a check valve to prevent draining through the return line in the case of a power outage)
I'm excited about this tank and glad that I've take 2+ months just to invision, plan, and design this setup.
Many more posts and pictures to come.
