Thanks for all the compliments! Hoping it only gets better! Things seem happier each day which is a great feeling.

I upgraded my skimmer around a week ago. Upgraded to a NAC8. What a machine. Build quality could be a little better (they have a seam). By specs it's total overkill for my tank, but I think it's just right. This thing is an absolute pleasure. Not finicky and pulling out tons and tons of gunk and is very very easy to finetune.

Ill let this photo speak for itself...4 days of skimming.

And a photo of one of my acans

Sweet tank whit kind of light do you use,im looking into lighting but dont know what to get.IM gonna start with zoas and lps and eventually add some sps frags..Im gonna start a smaller tank in the next few weeks its gonna be a wile before i can do the big tank,I have a brand new sro3000sss and a 36 ruby sump. The sump i can use now it will add volume.I hope you dont mind i chimed in on your tank tread, but the corals really seem to enjoy that light so im just curious.

4 ATI blue +
1 KZ purple
1 coral plus

And I switch out the coral + with a GE6500k once in a while.

I run the fullspectrum 24" led strip on the side which is on the white spectrum so the coral + helps keep this a little blue.

you have the same number of fish like what I have in my tank. (2 green chromis, tiny blue hippo and a pair of snow flakes).
With that number of corals that you have now, You going to run out of space in a year or so. Same as me, but I am already looking to upgrade in a year or so.
good luck.
