Quick ? Guys..... When i finish the 2nd coat what kind of protection can i put on top of the paint. Would a satin waterbase poly be good or is there something made for paint. Thanks

Its paint dont like the way stain which was waterbased looked

Normally you buy paint in the glossy or satin type finish you're looking for. This negates the need to put a finish coat over paint like you would over stain. Before you put any finish coat over paint you should test the combination of paint with finish on a scrap piece of wood to make sure the combination is compatible. You can try lacquer on a scrap to see if the paint you used will work with it.

Where are you ordering the clear netting from? Where are you getting the plastic holder for the screen from? I need to jump proof my tank also.

i took a scrap piece of wood painted it then i used polyacrylic water based on it lets see how it looks. its clear satin hope it comes out good...

delivery from brs is set for thursday of next week

going to be placing the stand in its final resting place after i move my other tank over and placing the tank on the stand moving along :lol2:
