i ran into a speed bump with the plumbing. my pump isn't sitting straight, as in it isn't flat on the sump, it's kind of raised and tilted.

That will help reduce vibration by making less contact with the sump maybe...

think he is right.. my return is barely touching the sump floor since the flex pipe was a little short but it works and it is silent

Update: the water blaster 3000 is too powerful. I have to throttle it down almost halfway (with a ball valve).

Def not true lol. I filled it up today and it is very loud and vibrates like crazy.

yeah i hated the vendor for doing that to me. i did just pick up my fixture

It only sits 44" tall, from floor to the top of the tank. I don't want to bend down to look in. I had the same issue with my deep blue 30. It is much easier to look at raised up.
