Hey it's about that time to upgrade the DB 30g. I'm going with the DB 80g non rimless(rimmed?), as I have a tendency to rest my arms on the tank. I didn't have the stomach to get a rimless 4' tank, but I'm sure I'm just being paranoid. I wanted to thank all of those that helped me with my overly paranoid questions about the tank possibly bowing, flow, and potential livestock.

Equipment- (what I am definitely using)
80g DB 48"x24"x16"
Custom King Sump- 44"x16"x16"
Water Blaster 3000
BRS Dual media reactor
4x MP10wES

What I haven't decided on...I would love some input!
Skimmer- Reef Octopus DNWB 110 , SRO XP 1000-sss, or DC 150
Lighting- 2 x Radions or ATI 8x54w T5. My current tank has a Radion over it. As the days go by, I am leaning more towards T5's.

If I decide to stick with radions, I'll use this as a mount.

I plan to keep mostly SPS, some zoo's, hammers and 1 or 2 torches.

That's a pic of my tank at the LFS. I'm building a platform. Cinder blocks wouldn't look so great in my house lol

Very nice low profile tank with a clean plumbing scheme.

thanks, that is exactly what i am going for. i kept the plumbing simple, and made it so that if i want to add something, such as a calc reactor, it can be done easily. i might have went union crazy. i plan on moving within the next 2 years. hopefully the unions help.
