I'll take a pic of my external overflow i made for my tank as per tunjee's thread on RC, IMO the only way overflow should come . they are really not as hard or tricky to drill...all it takes is a steady hand, water, and some big balls

Ive got them all to spare, for the cheap price of a small frag

Hm, I think I'm going to go with a 4000... 1017 gph@ 50watts and reasonable price? Sheesh, can't beat that.

1017 gph is with zero ft head pressure. Those max flow rates are very misleading.

yea i know master....my standard aga overflow can barely keep up with the quiet1 4000, so it keeps gulging and i had to lower its output

Ill never be able to get you the thread, RC search function is now pretty much useless unless your a "premier" member or your on 430 am on a weekday.

Now I see what you mean by going sexy with the overflow :flirt:, cause that sure is damn sexy.

That guy's cube is pretty awesome.
However I would my tank it be wider so I can fit a standard 20g as the sump and put that in a rubbermaid, just to be safe.
I like is lighting fixture. Maybe use a design like that to hang my Tek fixtures on.
