Its what came with it from MSHUR... Hopefully i can make him proud with his fixture.

They are 400w radium bulbs and the t5's i haven't gotten a close look at yet but i will be changing them out when i figure out which i want to go with... I'm pretty sure they are kz bulbs though.

Working on raising nutrients

Levels as of today

I noticed that the longer you let Kalk sit the more potent it gets. ( i make 5-1 gallon jugs at a time )

Alk - 10.2 (Red Sea) Lowered to 90ml a day [ it was at 100ml ]
cal - 440 (Red Sea) Lowered to 90ml a day [ it was at 100ml ]
mag - 1240 (Red Sea) [ dosed about 200ml ]
Nitrates - 2 (Salifert) Was between 0-1
Salinity - 1.026 (Refractometer) [ Lowering it a little bit with a water change ]
Phosphates - .03 (Real hanna meter) Was 0

Not running phosban or carbon in a reactor.
(Carbon is in a filter sock as of now)

Threw out 3/4 of my cheato

Tony your alk,cal,mag numbers are a little off balance keep an eye cause with alk at 10.2 you should have the cal at 500 and mag at 1480 so if you lower the alk watch the cal or mag shooting up till the balance is found

Thanks tusi (i got alot of work to do before my tank is anywhere as close to what yours looks like). New tank shots will be in a month or 2.

Here is the update pic ( i know i said i wasn't but this is for reference ). Halides on for a week so far.

Changed out 3 out of the 4 t5's (mistake from ordering) last bulb is on order

3- ATI Blue +
1- 54W KORALLEN-ZUCHT FIJI PURPLE



All corals seem to have adjusted well to the lights.

A few things to come soon

New 400w Radium bulbs
Reefbrites blue strip
2 new ballasts for backup

Finally added a fan to sump...

Hey tone great look man love the halides and a great choice for a fixture .... U think the fan will be able to cool off the 400 w ?
