I had 2 of the Harlequin shrimp. they annihilated every single asterina in no time. bad thing is then you have to buy starfish to feed them after. unless you sell or trade him.

Give him a week! I remember when I put pair of them in my tank all asterism stars climbed to top of my tank and after a week all gone!
