I don't use test kits. I measured nutrients by how dirty my glass gets.
If it needs cleaning in three days... I am on the track I want to be.

My filtration consist of a skimmer,live rock,settling tank,siphoning, turkey baster and water changes (40gal every 2 weeks), bare bottom tank.

I never use GFO but I do run carbon.

Marek makes great tanks and I'm sure he does great maintenance but make no mistake the maintenance and aquascaping is all done by me since day one with this tank.
