Jack's Reefer 250

Finally I am able to upgrade to a bigger and better tank! I've owned a JBJ 28G for the past five years and can't wait to get this one running.

Equipment:

2 x XR15s
MP40
MP10
Vectra M1
Reef Link
Reef Octopus 110-S
Bubble Magus

Spent some time yesterday with aquascaping and this is what I have so far. Not sure how high I should go.

Dammm Jack this tank looks like its going to be popping! You got alot more room this time around to mess with the scape. i would put two islands a bit hight then those two for future sps tp grow out. Get your hands on some tonga branch maybe and do some thing out of this world haha.

If you need help lmk

Finally today the rest of my equipment came in ! I have to thank Pop Coral for getting everything and hooking it up.

Today I built a box that will have all the controllers attached to the front and the wiring hidden behind. I was planning to drill a 2" hole in the middle that will feed all the wires inside the box but ran into an issue with the MP40. Apparently the wire is directly connected to the dry side, not sure how to hide the wire neatly. The cut out on the right side of the box will be for the 8 outlet control center.

I was able to install the lights and pump but only test the lights. Hopefully by this weekend I can get finally start cycling the tank.

Started cycling my tank this week. It's crazy how much water evaporates compared to a closed tank.

The tank is still cycling which is taking forever.

Side view of the tank.

Got another goodie this week. Haven't had the chance to set it up yet.
