Wow its been a while! So I'll start by saying the tank is doing well now, fighting to lower my nutrient levels and resist feeding too much lol.
I got sick during covid (not covid related) and went through a crash losing most of the corals I had for years. I brought the fish and remaining corals into a holding tank in the basement and just kept things chill until my health improved. With the tank down, I took that time to make a few changes with the set up. Painted the back and bottom black, I should have from the beginning ugh, bleached the rock and changed the aquascape a lot, and changed the control panel and some poor wiring which to be honest I need to clean up again now.
I made lots of arches and still have plans to add rock to a few spots. Some acros have started to take off while others have been slowly encrusting I think due to high phosphates.
Here's a video for you guys, quick overview and sorry for the dog panting the whole time lol. Lots of work still to go but I have high hopes to be trending in the right direction. Thanks for looking.
