thats in my parents basment which used to be my bedroom. No lights are ever on besides for a fe minutes a day when im down there making SW or testing. The room is in complete darknessbesides that

Ok well all my corals are up and out of the 120g. It looks so weird lol. Monday I will be moving the 120g to my parents basement for the fish to live unil te new tanks ready for them.

My plumbing pieces came today

This is gonna be for the back of the tank so I dont have to Paint it. I figured why paint the back since its stphire and one day might move it and need the back piece for showing.

Im now just waiting for my Spaflex to be delivered and ill have everythin I need for plumbing

Well I am almost done with my lightrack. Heres what I have so far

This is the top view where the 2 400w Icecap Electronic ballasts and the 2 T5 dimmable ballast will be. In the second picture you can see how the T5 ballasts will be seated.The third picture shows where the MH will sit since I dont have the IC ballasts off my 120 yet I marked out where they will be seated.

Well a lil update. I broke down the 120g and moved it to my parents basement. Man i thought a couple of hours it would take. Well it took from 2pm to 4:40 am. The water was cold so I had to heat it up w/ 2 heaters so I could place my fish back into the tank. I just got back now from the house to feedd them. Things looking very good. I need Mexican turbos but cant find them locally

I tested the rock tank again today ammonia and nitrite 0 tomorrow gonna be cutting the steel to size for the new stand. Also gonna test the PO4 and nitrat in the 120g and rock tank. I also wanna set up the 20g I have and plumb it to the 120g. This will be set up for a qt for my new fish Im collecting for my new tank. So far I have

Nick, isn't plumbing your QT into your 120 counterproductive? Wouldn't you want your QT to be stand alone and totally separate from the display?

BTW, from the other thread, no I haven't redone my tank. I didn't want to continually hijack John's thread

well yeah but not really a QT I worded it wrong. More of a secluded tank for new fish to get them eating before throwning them into the 120 which is full of LR and other fish eating the food.
