im using the mag 12 i have, seems to b working well with penductors, just enuf power for the cubes size...all the rock i have in the house is from the 120g, i killed most of it using some for the 20g i had set up, so i got it ready 2 months ago to go into the cube along with some pieces from 20g to seed it, im thinking im gonna pull couple a pieces from it when the rocks mature up...as for the sand YES i do still need it along with the mag 18 u said u had..
just additional note, i will be running my mrc3 skimmer on this tank.
