It's been up about a year and a half. I've had a few tanks, and this one didn't start running smoothly till about 6 months ago.
I'm pretty impatient so I had a real steep learning curve!
I thought I'd post an update: Everything's doing pretty good, I added a school of 8 Anthias and moved a few pieces around. I also installed a bio-pellet reactor which is helping get my nutrients down really low. The tank's pretty much been on auto pilot which is nice but also a little boring.
Tank looks great, nice work. Aren't you concerned about the heater though, being that high out of the water? And I wouldn't connect the pump straight to the washing machine drain, If you ever have a sewage backup it might go right into the tank when that pump is off. I saw it happen once. Otherwise looks great.
Thanks everyone!
I had the tank f/s but decided to hang on to it.
jaa-I turned off the return pump for the pic, the water level is usually to the very top.
