Well ill have to check the difference in par levels but i just like the looks of them better.

Also with the NEP t-5 lights i have now i really do not like them at all. I love vhos i guess it may be just a personal thing.

I got the smallest version of the Deep Dimensions (36x36x27), used it as a discus tank - now it's cycling with LR for a FOWLR... Beautiful tank - can't wait to see what you do with it!

Got a bunch done today on the tank.

I have all the pluming here and the star Board will be coming in tomorrow.

Hope to have some rock and water in there tomorrow.

I like T5s for several reasons. They get great penetration down to the bottom of the tank and you can mix the multitude of spectrums and manufacturers available to fit your needs or the look you like color wise. I've seen some amazing looking results from T5s. Btw, I'm not sure if you noticed but there is still plenty of room behind that tank... you could have gone bigger lol.

I have a 100 gallon stock tank, 3- 40 gallon breeders and a 100 gallon fuge.

Not to much room left.

And going bigger would get me in the dog house.
