I also am learning how hard it is to aquascape and place corals standing behind the tank.

Totally a two person job.. otherwise you are running back and forth. :lol: Is that sand I see on the bottom?? Looks really good.

Thanks JHOV. It turned out to be great in this spot, it is right when you walk in the door and the 48" width fit perfect in that soace.

How is the angel behaving with the corals?

Its a potters angel and he/she has been a model citizen for 2 years so far. I see it peck at the montis but its not hurting them. (Knock on wood) it does not pay attention to my clams.

just saw this thread. nice work and awesome aquascaping. love that arch toward the left side. is it a natural rock or a man made one?
how is the cone skimmer working for you. i have the msx 300 and someone offered to buy it and i was thinking about going with a cone. i got 270 gal. total volume...don't know which one to look into.

Thank you for the compliments. The arch is natural and the other larger peices of lr I stuck together with epoxy. I will get some more recent photos. I have recently been trying to adjust the flow(need a vortech) but cant get all of the corals to be happy.

If you go with a vortech, get one with the new style wetside. I have two on my tank and they are completely silent.

what new style?....there's a gen 3 now? mine are~ 8 months old. do you know if they are new or old style?

They reworked the propeller, bearings, and wet frame. It's only a new wetside not a new generation.
