ty everyone, clowns are still to young to breed maybe one day and down the road might try to raise a batch of fry. yeah couple of the colonies came from Al i have alot of frags and wanted a few colonies to fill in, them freakin crayons keep me going back to them, and no more zoa's. think i have 2 left that were grown onto the rock and didnt want to tear them up trying to get them off, where i am now has probably been my fav tank out of all of them so far

ok back with the t5's and definately like it better, tank is alot brighter. clam is definately happy. looking at a solaris i5 24" now, i do think the leds do work, the growth pic's people show don't impress me, i can show that with t5's and mh people can as well. did like the fact of less energy all around, but my t5's really dont heat tank much anyways, 2 80 cfm fans in canopy move alot of air. nitrates are zero after month or so of sulfur denitrafier. so took it off line and gonna see if i can keep them down. now later in the tank i wish i had gone foam and rock only, covered floor in foam so i could run my vortech's at higher speed, pretty much back to all sps.

ty chong, well changed a few thing's. got a vertex in100 ty felix, but got a airstar pump { atb sicce } and running the small ppw on it, i will say this will definately be my last skimmer for awhile, this pump has turn it into a killer, always loved the vertex line { had 3 of them } but always felt the pump just wasnt enough for the bodies, stock pump is 420 lpm as where this one is around 600 lpm which is more of what the body can handle, i also added a vertex reactor and 500 ml of their bio-pellets ty again felix. ive been wanting to try these for some period, current nitrates are around 15ppm so lets see where it is in a month, my main reasoning for wanting to use these are that once established i can cut out the gfo and carbon, plus i forget to dose vodka at times. read the ph issue and alk with pellets but i dont think i will have this problem with my dosing of kalkwasser, nor a oxygen problem with this skimmer
