First part of my automatic refrigerated food dosing system. This will be use to help aid in my liquid dosing of foods to my aquarium. The refrigerator is large enough to add a second 4 pump Bubble Magnus slave pump.

The plumbing is going to be set up like this:

This amazing set-up belongs to Steve Weast and is used on his Coldwater aquarium.

great idea. i especially like the magnetic stirrer.
would the cold/condensation be a problem for the electronics on the dosers and/or the stirrer?

The stirrer is to keep cyclop-eeze in suspension. The only issue with that is that cyclop-eeze will hold up for about a week refrigerated. The cold should not be an issue and for condensation, I will deal with that if it becomes a problem.

Decided to move my aquarium a few feet to better accommidate the chiller and refrigerated automatic feeding system. Thank God I have stone flooring so it wasn't overly difficult to move full.

Colony of Dendrophyllia gracilis picked up from Live Aquaria. The colony arrived in good physical shape. Coral's polyps seem to be weak an the colony will require work to have full polyp extension. (FM LPS+ food is shown in a few of the polyps) Additional videos of this coral will be posted as the colony progresses.

Sorry for not posting up too many pictures lately. My wife dropped my favorite camera when we were at a wedding and I am waiting for a new one to arrive.

nice....makes me want to get one.....never seen it in any lfs. any tip in finding one?
can it be placed near a dendro or balanophyllia? is it aggressive?

Aggressive, yes. It is sticky and it's sting is strong. You wont catch any clownfish trying to host in it. You can not place it directly next to a dendro or balanophyllia. What is interesting is that you can put two or more Rhizotrochus typus next to each other and they will be fine.

Now where to get them...they can be difficult to find due to the possible legality of bringing them into the country but they are out there.

Quick video of the Ledio 9 Mystery Purple bulb in action (I believe it might be the first Ledio 9 mystery purple to hit our shores). Sorry all the gorgonians/suns were not open at the time ;)

wow your tank is totally insane!!! those rhizos must be expensive! non-photosynthetic tanks are sooo cool i would get one but you have to make sure you feed all the corals a lot and thats where i would lack a lot

Actually the prices of them now are not as bad as they were a few years ago when I bought them. The feeding does take more dedication then with a normal reef. With my automation project, a larger part of the feeding with be done automatically for me. The only thing I will have to feed by hand are the Fauna Marin LPS+ pellets and mysis. If I had the room, I would integrate a automatic water changing system too.
