just bored and want to show you guys my other tank

5' EEL is a Tesstelta(9 yrs old)
2' cod grouper(5 yrs old)
2' porcuppin puffer ( 1 yr old)
and new addition 16'' sohal tang next week!!!!!!!!!!

Nice tank! Do you use RO/DI water or treated tap water? I would be interested to know how would you do w/c if you use RO/DI water for a such huge tank.

What do u use to treat the tap water before the salt mix?

Many people recommend RO/DI water FWLR also, I guess it is unnessary after seeing your tank.

I dont see any algaes in your tank, very clean!

It make sense to use tap water for a such huge tank. It would take forever to do w/c with RO/DI for this tank. It's unrealistic.

On my large fish tank I use only tap water and haven't had any problems. Remember these are FO or FOWLR tanks and worrying about algae isn't an issue like in a reef tank.

You don't apply the same principle to a FO or FOWLR tank as you do to a reef tank.
