kris the only one thing im scared about doing this tank is gettin the right aquascape... thats the one and only thing thats driving me nuts right now...

Tony, it's something you should be very affraid of. You should lose sleep over it. Battle :Starwars: it in your mind for months and months. :tongue1:

Hey dude, there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to do it. It's just the way you feel. It is a reflection of your 'inner tank' you are expressing.

Enjoy, don't sweat the little things (and they're all little things),

all the plumbing is finished and i have freshwater running to make sure no leaks so far so good... the 1.5 inch bulkhead is leaking very little from the threads so teflon tape is gonna be put when i empty the tank.. and then i start making saltwater....

Tony, looks great man. Never thought I'd see the day :cool3:

Kris is right about the return line being only .5". Not sure what size Mag you're using but if it's the 9.5 then they recommend 1.5" return pipe to attain their max flow rate. So .5" is extremely restrictive. I'm using .75" and I'm very sorry about that. I just can't get to the bulkhead to change it.

Saltwater next and more pix with some aquascaping.

'grats Tony,
Russ
