Forgot to say I also have chemipure elite in my fuge. Imho whats important for filtration is a good amount of live rock including chips in the fuge, chaeto as nitrates accumulate quickly, carbon/ion media to help keep the water clean, floss, and copious water changes. A skimmer would be nice but not worth the space. A couple skimmer options are the aquaticlife 115 and the remora nano. The aquaticlife can go in the tank and I think some people have put it in an AC fuge mod.
When I originally set up the tank I used an Eheim liberty 150 hob filter. Nitrates were at 40. Now they're 0.

did the clownfish live? every time i tried to keep a clownfish in a 10 gallon tank it would die because it stunted its growth or something and just died as it got bigger. i just kept getting more and every time it would stay small and after like 3 weeks it would die. is that a special clownfish that can live in small tanks or something?
