There are vents on the top and sides for ventilation and there is an intake fan mounted under the front vents. The front section flips back for feeding without having to open the whole lid but the whole lid can open and the metal brace holds it open. I built a frame for the lights out of aluminum stock and they fit in tracks on both sides of the canopy and they can slide back and forth. Here are the promised pics - enjoy.

I have finished the skirt around the stand and have the rails cut for the raised panels doors. This weekend I will cut the inset panels and hopefully assemble and install the doors. Then its just the staining and I will be done (finally). Thanks everyone for following along.
