just put the second coat of paint on the walls while it is drying i have this isue running in my head the drain and return from the overflow is on the right side as your looking at the back of the tank my return pump from the sump is on the left side of the sump i want to do it in pvc cause i hate the vinyl tubing i can do it with 2 90's or 2 45's would using 45's instead of 90's help with the head pressure and how much the reason is im gonna have this pipe going at a 45degree angle right in front of the sump

its kind of hard to picture, but 45's are less back pressure then 90's. ime though vinyl since it has no fitting has the least resistance.

verry nice looking in wall btw.

I went from a ATI fixture to AI's and started them in the 30's just to be safe. Just to give you a little info my fixture is 30 inches from the sandbed. I would say anywhere from the 30s to 50 is good.

no sand in the tank yet but from where i think it is gonna be to the lights it is about 30 inches as well with nothing in the tank the coverage seems good about 11 inches from where the water should be what % did u start the lights at and how long did u wait to raise the levels

Like I said anywhere from 30-50 max is where I would start. My sps actually colored up really nice with starting at 30. Every week I would raise the intensity up a few (of course im anxious and raised twice a week sometimes). Right now my blue and royal blue are in the 60s.
