Chief and heuerfan, Please don't take things so personally. I just making a point. Chief too bad you can't make it brooklyn, Brooklyn is becoming a little Cali with selection that is starting to come in. You lost big store out there, so brooklyn may be your spot for the exotics sooner or later. lol :)

No Dru it won't, and I'm not taking anything personally I am speaking as impartial as impartial gets as a never will be customer. Sorry Sean but I have a limit as to how long/far I will drive with livestock. I wish you all the best on your aniversary sale you are a stand up guy and have done MR quite a service in the past and I know you will in the future. LOL when you open your westchester store let me know :)

Sean has a very nice store, and so many different types livestock. I would be excited just to see what new stuff is in. No other store in Brooklyn post pictures and no other store in brooklyn carries the selection that Sean has.:wink1: Many vendors on this site do not have a storefront. They mostly sell out of a side tank.

Lets be fair, Sean is doing all us a favor by just tellings us what he stocks. I am very new to the business, but I'm learning very quickly that it is not as easy as it seems.

Saltwater fish are very delicate creatures. From the time they are caught till the time they reach the storefront display. What would you rather have, the store keeper taking snapshots of fish or making sure the parameters of the tank are in check?

Side deals on websites are cool, but look out for your LFS if they are looking out for you.

The bottom line for this business is very slim, even though it is a 3 billion a year dollar business. Some LFS has tarnish this hobby but they are many cool stores out there trying to give hobbist a break. Let Sean take care of the displays so that we can have healthy fish in our display

Thanks Duluv you seem to understand my situation. I've taken pictures in the past it's time consuming and I don't seem to generate any more sales from them. so now I'll take pictures once in a while and just list names of only the new stock that comes in. As you can see I don't even have time for this since I missed the last week. It has taken me days to look at this post.

If anyone out there is ever in my area I would hope they would take the time out to check out my store. Hey maybe even buy something.

take care
Sale is still on

It is impossible for Sean to take a picture of every last item in his store and post it with prices. He doesn't run an online store he runs a shop (and a good one at that.) Just like in real estate or any other business, shops want you to come in to the store. Many, many times I have gone to Sean's to purchase "item A", he didn't have it but he did have another item for a great price, or something I hadn't seen before or something that I had been looking for. I would have missed out on these had I not gone.

Part of this hobby (for me anyway) is traveling. I travel to many LFS shops over the course of any month and to many of your homes. As Sean mentioned that is part of them hobby and part of the fun.

I'm not asking him to take pictures of everything. I was interested in a specific coral and wanted to know if he could post a picture of actual item. I travel all over myself to different stores and uderstand what you are saying. I was hopiing he could take a picture and post it since this is what many people do on this board. But i guess he cannot, my loss.
