One day controllers for our reef tanks will come pre-programmed to run the whole tank and it will be simple like what size tank enter here, kind of corals add here,etc etc and then it will come up with the optimal settings for all your lights,skimmer,pumps,recirc pumps,temp,salinity ,top-offs,dosing etc all from the answers you put in even time cycle and lunar cycles wouldn't that be cool if it was wi-fi and could pull up the weather around the reef and set it self accordingly sunny and 80 deg or overcast and stormy seas etc . your vortechs would then simulate the ocean setting violent waves or lagoon settings..Artificial intelligence. wow one day my son will say wow dad you had to do what to keep your tank running lol..yes son and we used timers and hospital type pumps to dose wow dad sounds like before holographic tv was invented..as we say to black and white today wow really old no I meant high definition as we say today wow before hi-def.lol what is black and white..funny

+1 lfsmarineguy. That would be enjoyment minus some degree of satisfaction. My 1996 M3 had no abs, no assist this or electronic that, and WAS the ultimate driving experience. These new cars are much less enjoyable on a Sunday morning jaunt in the backroads.
