the fact that there r algea overgrowing the tank proves there r excess nutrients in the water. the algea looks like green turf algea (listen to jackson n get lots of mexican turbos). the key is to reduce/eliminate the fuel.
how about posting some pics of your tank n setup.

I had someone come over last night and man this guy knows reefing I was blown away my biggest prob is flow ....my spray bar isn't properly being spraying the water so I will redo that and relocate my power heads and. See what happends .....also I'm goin to change to a finer filter pad
