But seriously how does a Schedule 80 fitting split with no pressure on it?

It really sucks. I guess i'm not the only one. My tee on the calcium reactor cracked too but good thing i caught it in time, less than a gallon on the floor. The crack is very minium and water was leaking very slowly so, no damage done.
