I've been trying to get him to stop biting by putting him down for some time and it's not taking. My vet recommended spraying my hands with Bitter Apple. I did that yesterday - he did not enjoy that and didn't bite me for the rest of the day. He started again this morning and I'll be spraying my hands next time I plan to play with him.

I call this photo "Kitty Porn."

Now that the weather is getting warm and I want to open my windows - has anyone ever had issues with the window screen getting torn by a cat? I wouldn't want him falling out! But I don't want to keep the lower half closed so he (and I) can enjoy the breeze.

Also, does anyone have any experience with these Cat Veranda things? They're basically cages that are installed into your window like air-conditioners that cats can go into and hang out "outside." I see 2 brands, one of which warns not to place it in direct sunlight. (What do they expect me to do: move to the other side of the apartment building?!)
