Is it 1-2% more efficient or are we talking 50% more efficiency over the sro...?

Just saying if it's only a minimal difference then I'd rather save the $, but if you are saying get the cone it'll make you say omg omg compared to the sro there is no contest then I'm down for that.

The Super Reef Octopus XP3000INT OR

The Reef Octopus SRO 3000INT

Is the xp worth the extra $160?

What size tank are you planning to run it on?
I'm planning on buying one of these also for my 180.
I still haven't decided wich one yet becuase of the same question but I'm leaning toward the XP version. I was told it is a bit more stable and there is less turbulance in the chamber as the SRO model, do to the 10" base it has.
Here is a video of the sro 3000int running just in case you hven't seen it.

I believe that which ever one we choose we'll be happy with them.
There very resonably priced.
