hey kris for that metal stand you can make a quick and easy wood stand for it. get a metal drill bit and some 4in to 6in wide srips from home depot and drill the metal stand for placement of screws and attach the wood.you dont have to make doors if you didnt want to but the wood will really make the stand look alot better.

Just wondering, but do you guys think that the octopus 2000 would out skim a ASM G4 with 2 sedra 5000's recirc and a feed tee'd off from the main drain of the tank?

Just asking because I have all the parts I need for the G4...

The super reef does look nice though.

I think the G4 would be way too big Kris.. I would pick the Octo over the ASM.

Not worried about it being too big, just want the best performer. Everyone is leaning octo, so I'm gonna pick one up in the new year when the tank is.
