Chief, NY Aquaria, for all intents and purposes, is my LFS Their fish quality is top-notch; wide diversity (FO, reef safe). Their prices are a little more than I'm willing to pay, though. Until I joined MR, all my coral (LPS) was purchased here, so I'll say the prices are fair for Westchester County :p

I'm going up there with a bucket of saltwater and snag some cured rock :Up_to_som

I went there last week and I know why he is cleaning out his tanks.They looked bad and full of algae. I`m not trying to bash them but just be careful when you get your rock and make sure it is clean and has no algae you will save yourself a huge headache....

NYaquaria used to have a great selection of SPS a few years ago.....Very healthy and colorful system. The system is not what it used to be but Sal knows his stuff and I'm sure the new system will be great. The show tank still looks awesome.
I think the prices on SPS are very reasonable. You get a colored up colony for $60-$100. I got a Hoeksemi colony for $60 there last year

I wish I had the room to take some of the stuff home. 90% of what is in my tank was bought at NYA. Sal set my system up and I have had no problems for over 2 years. I'm sure the changes he makes to the store will improve on what I think is the best LFS in the area. BTW has anyone been to Reef and Fin Lately

Man, I have been so busy that I missed out on Sal's post! Some of the best pieces I have I got at his shop. Very healthy corals and Sal knows his stuff.

I highly recommend them.
