Ok, I am baby sitting Ronen's (Deepwater) Blue Xenia in the hopes that it will grow and multiply as my Pulsing Xenia has.
This is an offshoot of this thread.
I will keep updated Pics and the waitlist here.
Please remember that this coral belongs to Ronen and all transactions are with him.
These pics are of the Xenia just after being placed in my sump.

Pricing

Zoous said:
how much are you asking for a frag?
Pricing will be up to Ronen (Deepwater).
It may also be subject to the size of each frag and how fast I can get these to grow, but I would expect it to cost significantly more than "regular" pumping xenia.

WOW that actually looks blue! Nice coral
note that the pics posted below were taken in my sump/fuge under 6500K light, i would suspect it would be even nicer under actinics and/or higher K lighting...

I'd say you're right about Sansibia
from that article (for those too lazy to click):
"Alderslade established a new and similar looking genus, Sansibia in 2000. Data on this genus is presently limited, but some pictures of Sansibia look grossly similar to Xeniid varieties known from the aquarium trade. Sansibia is noted as having high concentrations of zooxanthellae and occurring in turbid waters."

Have patience when fragging this as it is very colonial and you could wipe out the whole thing if it is not already comfortable in your tank.

Good luck.

i got patience, after all, it is in MY tank... :sgrin:
